There are literally hundreds of ways to make gold in World of Warcraft, but many people still prefer to buy it in the real world as gold comes quick in this way and there is no effort required on your part. The reality is, however, physically buying gold is against the terms of service of the game and your account will get banned once you get caught.
In fact, you do not have to risk your account to earn gold quick. There are enough ways within the game itself for you to make gold, and not all of them require lots of efforts.
You will need to progress to Level Five before you can start to make gold, but you are not required to spend any gold to reach this level. While you are in the progress, you can earn some silver.
After you get to level five, you need to start learning some trade skill. You can start out with mining and skinning, and all you need to do is to collect every object from these skills, stack them up and sell out in the Auction House. It won’t be long before you find gold starts to appear in your account.
If you work hard, it won’t be long before you reach the more advanced level (usually the high 50’s). Now, it is time you can try farming the Thorium ore in the Burning Steppes. You will never run short of ore in that area, and can usually sell those for around 30 gold per stack in the Action House.
Just like mining, skinning can also produce you a good amount of gold. In the Auction House, rugged leather can sell for about 15 gold per stack on a good day and there is always a big demand for it. Just head over to Felwood and start hunting whatever you find there.
What you have read is just a simplified version on how to make gold in World of Warcraft. Some people may feel it too dull and boring to following these methods, but they do reward you with gold in the end.
