Leveling Guide For Alliance – Alliance Leveling Tips

By Mark Fulke | March 2, 2010

No matter what race you choose to play as an alliance player, a little smarty gnome, a night elf wielding the powers of nature or a human skilled in the use of swords, there still are quite a bunch of levels to knock down towards the World of Warcraft end game content. Nobody enjoys pretty much t

he idea of rising a new toon, and to be honest neither do I. There\’s a solution though to diminish a little, the impact of the boredom of leveling. To be more precise, when it comes to rising a toon, using an Alliance leveling guide is always the right choice.

The Alliance leveling guide I\’ve been using has taught me quite a few things on leveling an Alliance toon, so here are a few good things to know:

1. If you didn\’t know by now, questing is the best way to level an Alliance character, solo, without any help. If you don\’t have a friend to boost you all the time, or a group to pass you through the hardest instances, doing quests will help you keep a constant XP rate.

2. If you\’re questing for XP, just solving quests randomly will won\’t help, most of the times. It\’s pointless to cover a map 2-3 times to complete just one quest. You will waste a lot of time for little XP.

3. Skip the elite quests, that you cannot complete alone. It\’s just wrong to look for a group for 2 hours, doing nothing. At least, as this Alliance leveling guide has taught me, keep asking for a group in the game chat as you are working on other solo quests.

4. Pick up professions and level them up along with your character\’s level. If you don\’t you\’ll need to return later to the lower level areas and resume your skill up. Even if they don\’t give you XP and actually consume some time, professions are a must for any character, they are an excellent source of gold in World of Warcraft.

5. Make sure you choose the right spec for leveling your character. The best choice you can make for a leveling spec is a combination of area-of-effect abilities and talents. This way you will be more effective while killing mobs and run through quests much faster. For example, I used a lot my bear form as a druid, and some defensive gear to kill at least 4-5 mobs at one time.

Following the polished quest path of an Alliance leveling guide, I managed to level up my last character in less than 7 days. These tips should be helpful at least a little to anyone playing on WoW Alliance.
